1. What you're paying for
A Q-Grade build order is a one-time $7,500 USD service engagement. It includes a 7-day enterprise build cycle and a $500 contribution to the Q-Grade St. Jude Fund. Because the bulk of the cost is engineering time we schedule and reserve on your behalf, this policy is more restrictive than a typical product refund policy.
2. Before kickoff — full refund window
You may cancel and receive a full refund of $7,000 (the build portion of your fee) at any time before your build kickoff date. To cancel, email marc@qgradeapps.site from the address used for your order, with your Stripe session ID or the email receipt attached.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of confirmation.
3. After kickoff — no refund
Once your 7-day build cycle has started, the engagement is non-refundable. Engineering time is reserved, dependencies are provisioned, and work product begins on day one. If you cancel mid-cycle, you forfeit the remaining fee, and we will hand off any partial work product completed up to the cancellation date.
4. St. Jude contribution — non-refundable
The $500 St. Jude Fund contribution included in every order is donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital shortly after your payment clears. This portion is non-refundable in all cases, including cancellations before kickoff. The remaining $7,000 build portion follows the rules above.
5. Quality issues with the delivered build
If something we delivered doesn't match the scope confirmed before kickoff, we'll fix it at no additional cost within a reasonable correction window after handoff. Email marc@qgradeapps.site with a description of the issue and we'll respond within one business day. Scope changes (new features, new workflows) are handled as a separate change order, not as a refund.
6. What is not eligible for refund
- The $500 St. Jude Fund contribution.
- Any portion of the fee once the 7-day build cycle has started.
- Third-party costs you authorized us to incur on your behalf (paid domains, paid APIs, etc.).
- Change-of-mind requests after we've delivered work that matches the agreed scope.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
Before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact us directly at marc@qgradeapps.site. We're a small team and resolve almost every concern quickly when given the chance. Fraudulent chargebacks may be contested with documentation of services rendered.
8. How to request a refund
- Email marc@qgradeapps.site from the email used for the order.
- Include your Stripe session ID (in your receipt) or order date.
- Briefly explain the reason for the refund.
- We respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect on your order date is the version that governs your refund rights for that order.
